Wow, It's been a long time!

I'm clearly not a blogger at heart...I get caught up with knitting projects and forget about everything else, even bills, yikes! Since my last post I've been getting into creating my own patterns and really getting the KnitWit Creations brand out there as best as I can.  I'm on Twitter (@KnitWit82), Instagram (KnitWit82), Facebook (www.facebook.com/KnitWit82), and I finally opened an Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop/KnitWitCreations82).

Newborns, Newborns, Newborns!!!

KnitWit has Newborn Fever!!! No mom, I'm not pregnant....I'm just obsessed with knitting everything for babies lately.  It started with my friend, Marissa, and her little one on the way!  She asked for a newborn beanie and a small baby blanket....and my newborn frenzy began.  Newborn beanies, booties, sweaters....there's just too many adorable baby items to knit!! Although I will continue to knit for all ages, I think newborns/babies are my focus for 2012!!

Winter isn't over...yet :)

As I sit watching the snow fall I realize I still have some time for awesome winter Knits! (even though KnitWit Creations will be available year round)

The New Knitting Nook!

KnitWit FINALLY got some organization in her knitting life!  Bins for everything!!  Now that everything is in it's place...I guess I have to attempt to figure out the knitting machine! :)  Stay tuned...

I've received a lot of positive feedback on my Knits in the last month and I just wanted to say "Thanks" to everyone (from the model to the wonderful person paying the compliment).  Luckily I have an adorable nephew and two equally adorable nieces to model for me.  I'm also lucky to have a brother-in-law (Dr. Bryan Natusch) and sister-in-law (Holly McLelland) with awesome photography skills to make my Knits look amazing on camera. 

A super thank you goes out to those who have put orders in with KnitWit Creations.  I'm hoping that the word continues to spread about my lil' business and it soon blossoms into a bigger lil' business! ;)

2012...oh boy!!

Geez....2012 is here, now what? Well...my #1 goal of the entire year is to get Christina Perri (waitress turned famous singer overnight) to wear one of my hats/scarves/mittens...yes, seriously.  That alone would probably allow me to die a happy knitter, but I do have other goals in mind. :)
I thank you all for your early support in this business venture and am thrilled you are along for the ride!
